The only redeeming thought I have on this situation is that you can run incognito mode and go directly to your server's IP as /u/GliTch_04 said below. Edit: Actually 'secure connections' on the server has to be set to 'disabled' in order for Remote Access to be available again. On the app (phone, tablet etc): Settings -> Advanced -> Allow insecure connections: Always. I was doing a little viewing party with remote family members and it all went down in the middle of it. On the server web UI: Settings -> Network -> Secure connections: Disabled. It wasn't until today around mid day that it started getting wonky and then finally just died. It works just fine internally, and was working just fine yesterday remotely. Then I finally found this forum, and put everything back the way it was because it is obviously not something on my side. I checked logs and even was able to Telnet to port 32400 from outside the network. I bridged my routers modem and used my own 3rd party router, I rebooted, I reset network settings, I reset my router and the modem back to factory and tried everything again in various ways. I was watching offsite and it would go offline, and then come back, and it did this a few times, until finally it went down completely around 8:49pm Central time. I called my ISP, since they NAT IP addresses by default and had them remove NAT. I wouldn't think this would be so hard but I've had no luck with remote access on my plex server running on FreeNas. I was 1 or 2 versions behind, and I started having this issue today around the same time as everyone else. I had issues with this in the past and never got it resolved but now I'm having to revisit this task. Please Like my post over here. This isn't a problem with the new version update, as some people have stated. PSU: Fractal ION 2+ 650WLike my post (or find it helpful)?.
